This flour sack tea tea towel is decorated with drawings of actual houses on Elfreth's Alley and locally screen printed. It makes a great souvenir of a trip to Philadelphia, or a memento of a wedding or engagement photo session on the street.
The quaint cobblestoned street is open to foot traffic only and one of Philadelphia's most beloved tourist spots. It's a rare example of a preserved, working class neighborhood and was home to many tradespeople, tavern owners, artisans and shopkeepers throughout its 300 + year history.

I've bought these a few times as business gifts - especially when meetings are away from the east coast. Bringing something so beautifully crafted from the historic heart of our country is always well received.
I'm not surprised this product is sold out. These towels are so well made and as light weight as they are absorbant. I cook a lot and always have one near by. On top of that the design gives us a glimpse of Elfreths' ally , even in my kitchen all the way in North Jersey. KUDO's to the artist !!
